A Letter from Jami Brinton, LMSPA President

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the new school year! On behalf of the Ladue Middle School Parent Association, we extend a warm welcome to all our returning and new families. We are thrilled to have you join our middle school community.

LMSPA is a vital part of LMS, working to support our students, LMS teachers, staff and administration, as well as the overall school environment. We strive to foster a strong sense of community and provide opportunities for parents to connect with each other and with the school.

We encourage you to get involved! You can participate in our events, volunteer your time, or simply attend our meetings to stay informed. We have a variety of exciting events planned for this year, including our annual Boo Bash, quarterly parent education events, grade-level parties, and teacher appreciation events scattered throughout the year.  None of this can happen without your generous support.  All of our efforts are funded through the voluntary donations of our parents.  Thank you!

Please reach out to us with any questions or suggestions. You can contact us at laduemiddleschool@gmail.com.  We look forward to a wonderful year ahead!

Sincerely,

Jami Brinton, LMSPA 2025-26 President

Elizabeth Wahl, LMSPA 2025-26 Co-President

Get to know your LMSPA Exec Board

Jami Brinton, President

Jami Palmer Brinton has been a member of the LMSPA executive board since 2021. She and her husband, Jason, have four children attending in the Ladue School District: Jackson (10th grade); Kate (9th grade); Alexa (6th grade) and Thomas (3rd grade).  Professionally, Jami works alongside Jason in their LASIK surgery practice, Brinton Vision. She enjoys snow skiing, traveling, baking, and can often be seen driving her children around to various sporting and musical events on nights and weekends.  Jami believes the LMSPA provides a wonderful avenue for parents and guardians to support Ladue Middle School's teachers and staff, meet other parents, and assist students in navigating their formative middle school years. She loves giving back to the Ladue community and is inspired by the quote, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping."

Elizabeth Wahl, Co-President/President Elect

Elizabeth Wahl has volunteered for various parent association roles with the Ladue School District at LECC, Reed, FGC, and LMS since 2017. She has three boys with her husband, Mathias Labs, in the district: Graham (7th grade) and twins, Leon & Kristof (3rd grade). Professionally, she currently works at C2N Diagnostics, developing new products to support those affected by Alzheimer's disease. She also operates two local businesses: McKnight Bee Products, which specializes in honey, beeswax, and lavender products, and Solara Capture, a photobooth business catering to local events. Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and creating. She is a strong advocate for leaving the world in a better state than she found it

Nannette Bell, Past President/Parent District Council Rep

Nannette Bell is mom to Fiona (14), Lachlan (13), and twins Delphine and Alexander (6). She works in marketing and business strategy, volunteers with local arts and service organizations, and enjoys dance parties with her kids, watching Bluey, water polo, theatre, and dance. Nannette loves volunteering with LMS because it’s a joy to support a vibrant community of dedicated educators and engaged fellow parents.

Brooke Sehy, Treasurer

Brooke Sehy is excited to be back as a volunteer at LMS. She has served in various parent association roles in Ladue schools, including President, Treasurer, Website Chair, and Parent District Council Representative. Brooke serves on the school district's Legislative Board Advisory Committee and the Curriculum and Instruction Board Advisory Committee. She and her husband Jon have four boys. Brooke loves planning adventures and traveling with her family and friends. She is inspired by the many wonderful people she has met as a volunteer in Ladue.

Utica Morris, Secretary

Utica Morris is a proud parent of a son in middle school.  Time flies.  Utica believes and practices being a positive impression in her son’s education journey  by volunteering in the parent association.  You may see Utica riding her bike through the neighborhood, singing at a local karaoke event, and participating as a “Bingo” enthusiast.

Lizzie Berman, Parent District Council Rep

My husband Matt and I have a daughter in 10th grade, a son in 9th grade and a son in 6th grade.  This is my 3rd year on the LMSPA, previously as 7th grade VP and 8th grade VP.
