FAQ: How can I volunteer for LMSPA?
Answer: There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is needed! Some of the volunteer positions require you to help out at the school and others you can do right from the comforts of your home. Simply complete the Volunteer Interest form on Membership Toolkit and we will be in touch with you.
FAQ: Where can I find a list of open LMSPA committee positions for 2025-26?
Answer: You can find a list of all open board, committee and volunteer positions here. We are always looking for general volunteers to serve in a variety of capacities throughout the year.
FAQ: I’ve signed up to be an LMSPA volunteer for an event at LMS. How can I learn more about where I am supposed to go at the school?
Answer: We want our LMSPA volunteers to be equipped with all of the information they need to arrive prepared for the task at hand. Please read our “know before you go section” on our website. Reach out to us at laduemiddleschool@gmail.com if you still have questions.
FAQ: If I want to make a donation to LMSPA, do I have to do that via my LMSPA Membership Toolkit account?
Answer: We welcome donations via LMSPA Membership Toolkit and invite you to keep or make an MTK account as we use this forum frequently to deliver information throughout the year. However, we also accept donations via Venmo. If you prefer this method, use @LMS-Parent-Association or scan to QR code:
FAQ: How is my LMSPA donation money spent?
Answer: LMSPA fundraises to provide numerous benefits to students, teachers, staff, and families throughout the year. This includes enrichment activities, grade-level parties and special events, funds for extra-curricular clubs and competitions, teacher grants, conference meals and staff support, and community-building across our school community. It costs at least $75 per student each year to make this happen. Your donation is greatly needed and appreciated; any amount helps to make a difference for our school! FAQ: Can my company match my LMSPA donation?
Answer: Yes! Did you know that many companies match their employees’ donations to non-profit organizations? By asking your company to match your LMSPA gift, you may double the impact of your contribution. Companies with matching programs have included Anheuser-Busch, Bank of America, Bayer, Energizer, MasterCard, Nestle Purina, Wells Fargo, and more!
FAQ: When are the LMPSA general board meetings held?
Answer: All parents and guardians are invited to attend general board meetings throughout the year. We’d love to have you join us and learn more about what LMSPA does and how you can get involved. Evening meetings are held at Ladue Middle School in the library or cafeteria. Daytime meetings are held in the admin conference room. A list of those are available here.
FAQ: What is a PDC rep?
Answer: A parent district council representative is a parent volunteer who shares LMSPA business at a district-level meeting once/month. We have two PDC representatives. One is generally a past or current LMSPA president. The other is usually someone who has served on the LMSPA board for one year.
FAQ: Does the LMPSA sell swag?
Answer: Yes! And, you can purchase it on the LMSPA’s website. Our selection varies throughout the year so if you see something you or your student like, you might want to grab it because we do not keep an inventory.
