6th Grade Guide to Middle School Emotions:
Inside Out 2
Wednesday, February 26 at 6-7:30pm at the LMS Gym

Interactive Night On Navigating Middle School Emotions:
What We Can Learn from Inside Out 2

Middle school is a stage of life when students can experience new, big emotions.  How does a student handle those?  How can parents help their child? Inside Out 2 explored the complexities of human emotions all while facing the challenges of growing up.

Join us on Friday, February 28 from 6-7:30 pm in the LMS Gym as we have an interactive discussion led by Dr. Thompson and LMS counselors as we learn ways to effectively navigate and embrace new emotions we feel, regardless of what stage of life we are in. We'll watch clips from the movie and fun & joy in navigating these special years with our kids. Parents and students (current 5th & 6th graders) are invited to come learn together.

Please rsvp here.

Class of 2029 PHOTOS Needed!

8th grade parents: We'd like your help contributing photos for a slideshow that will be used at the 8th grade end of year party on May 3rd. We're looking for good quality photos of 8th Grade LMS kids, together doing anything and everything inside and outside of school (please keep them clean and appropriate). We welcome photos and video clips from elementary school through 8th grade. Our goal is for every LMS 8th grader to be included in this slideshow. We prefer photos that have more than one student, if possible.

Please upload all photos/videos by March 14, 2025 to this Google Drive folder. Contact Cara Kopec at 217-741-6912 if you have questions or issues submitting photos

Depending on the number of photos submitted, not all photos will be used. We will make the final video slideshow available digitally to all 8th grade families at the end of the school year.
