Social Media, Happiness, and the Teenage Mind

Who Should Attend: Students & Parents
When: Thursday, November 6th from 6-7:15pm

What really makes our teens happy — and how does social media fit in?
Dr. Tim Bono, a Washington University professor and expert in positive psychology and student development, will lead a research-based discussion on how social media impacts teen well-being and practical ways parents can help their children build real happiness in a digital world.

Dr. Bono is the author of Happiness 101 (formerly When Likes Aren’t Enough: Simple Secrets to Smart Living & Well-Being) and is known for his relatable, high-energy presentations. Recently featured at Ladue-area high school and youth service organizations, his talks leave parents informed, reassured, and equipped with meaningful strategies to support their teens’ mental health and confidence.
