Who Should Attend: Students & Parents (5th- 12th Grade)
When: Thursday, November 6th from 6-7:30pm

What really makes our teens happy — and how does social media fit in?
Dr. Tim Bono, a Washington University professor and expert in positive psychology and student development, will lead parents & students in research-based discussions on how social media impacts teen well-being and practical ways parents can help their children build real happiness in a digital world.

Dr. Bono is the author of Happiness 101 (formerly When Likes Aren’t Enough: Simple Secrets to Smart Living & Well-Being) and is known for his relatable, high-energy presentations. Recently featured at Ladue-area high schools and youth organizations, his talks leave parents informed, reassured, and equipped with meaningful strategies to support their teens’ mental health and confidence.

New Bell Schedule for '25 - '26!

LMS is implementing a new schedule this year! Some highlights of update include:
  • an increase in teams (with new names) for smaller core rosters and deeper connections with students and families
  • DAILY Health/Wellness (you might refer to this as PE)
  • DAILY Flex time where students are getting what they need (might be Apogee, academic intervention, core practice or extension activities)
  • DAILY recess as part of a 40 minute lunch and movement break
The overall building schedule can be seen below. Blue and White days are block days, while on Ram days, students attend all of their classes. On a five day week, Mondays and Thursdays are usually Blue days, Tuesdays and Fridays are usually White days, and Ram days are on Wednesdays. On four day weeks, the Ram day is dropped.
