City2 Home Opener

LMS Day at the City2 Soccer match was BIG fun with more than 100 LMS students and families attending. LMS students announced the players, sat with the team as bench warmers, and led the spirit squad by beating the drums and waving the flags. We extend a big thank you to Rob and Cindy Heuermann for organizing this incredibly fun community event! If you missed it, keep an eye out for next year's event.

Thank You for Your Help

Thank you so much to all the families who contributed to our meals for teachers and staffs during LMS spring conferences! We literally couldn't host these staff appreciation events without the generous and willing help of volunteers and contributors like you. A special thanks to Catherine Hamlin, Irene Oriaifo and Darlene Finn for their leadership!

Ladue Middle School’s RoboRams Are Going to the World Championship

Ladue Middle School’s RoboRams teams made history this past weekend at the Missouri VEX Robotics State Championship in Kansas City, delivering an unforgettable performance and securing Ladue’s first-ever state robotics title. Next stop for two Laude teams is the world championship!

8TH GRADE UPDATES

Last Call for 8th Grade Photos!

Attention 8th grade families: We're looking for photos of 8th Grade LMS students, inside and outside of school (please keep them clean and appropriate). Our goal is for every LMS 8th grader to be included!

We welcome photos and video clips from elementary school through 8th grade. We prefer photos that have more than one student, if possible. Photos will be incorporated into a slideshow that will be used at the 8th grade end of year party on May 3rd.

Please upload all photos/videos by April 7, 2025 to this Google Drive folder. Contact Cara Kopec at (217) 741-6912 if you have questions or issues submitting photos.

Parent Volunteers Needed for Day at 8th Grade Camp

We have 20 spots to invite parent volunteers to see what a day at Camp Mihaska is all about.

Experience all the fun your LMS student has talked about at 6th Grade Camp.
Lunch, dinner and bus transportation included.
In addition to volunteer duties, there will be opportunities to fish, hike and explore the stunning outdoor spaces.
District volunteer background check required

Donate to the 8th Grade Celebration Fund

8th grade for LMS students is a special one filled with memorable events throughout the year, involving opportunities for leadership, academics, friends and fun. The year culminates with an end-of-year celebration on May 3rd, featuring rides, games, DJ, and lots of food for our graduates – and a near 100% attendance rate. The event is free for students, paid for by fundraisers and donations through the LMSPA.
