The 8th grade farewell assembly will honor all students on Friday, May 26 at 9:30 a.m. Here are details about the event:
Guests

• Family and special guests are invited to attend the assembly, but we are requesting that each family try to limit the number of guests to two (2) due to space constraints. We understand that some families may have two households and need to exceed this number. There are no tickets needed for entrance.
• We are asking all families to please assist with our 7th grade students leaving for a field trip and 6th graders beginning their field day events by not arriving on campus prior to 8:45am. Parking will be on the blacktop. Please DO NOT park in any reserved spaces or in the circle drive.
• Guests will not be able to enter the school building until 9:00am.
• We will also be live streaming this assembly so family members or friends who can’t attend may watch. The link will be sent out the week of the event.

Parking and Shuttle Arrangements

• Our maintenance and custodial crew will be available to assist with parking on our black top area.
• We will be offering overflow parking at Ladue Chapel with a shuttle starting at 8:45am.
• Please enter and exit using door #10, which is on the west side of the gym by the blacktop. The front, welcome center entrance will not be an entrance for this event. Guests who need an accessible entrance or who require use of the elevator should contact me to make arrangements.

Reception

• The assembly will be followed by a light reception in the cafe.
• After the reception, students may leave with their families or friends as there are no planned activities for 8th grade students after the reception.

Other Information

• Students should come to school in their normal arrival procedure (bus, carpool) at 8:10am and report to their assigned classrooms (a list will be posted in the 8th grade hallway).
• Students should dress for the occasion.
