Congratulations Jr. Football Rams!

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Jr. Football Rams, who made it all the way to the championship game. They finished #2 in our league after playing Ritenour in the final on Saturday.

And way to go, 6th Grade Junior Rams, who defeated Marquette Middle School last Saturday to win their league championship!

We want to celebrate and recognize all 4 Jr. Rams football teams, as the 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams all made it to their championship games. The future of Ladue Football looks bright! Goooooo Rams!!!

Have an 8th Grader Who Has Done Something Worth Recognizing?

We want to give a shout out to 8th graders who are doing amazing things this year! The only requirement is that what they are involved with is a group effort - as we want to be able to mention as many students as possible in the limited number of newsletters we release!  Please send your pictures along with a blurb to include to jamipalmerbrinton@gmail.com.  Thank you!

Class of 2029 Photos Needed!

8th grade parents: We'd like your help contributing photos for a slideshow that will be used at the 8th grade end of year party on May 3rd. We're looking for good quality photos of 8th Grade LMS kids, together doing anything and everything inside and outside of school (please keep them clean and appropriate). We welcome photos and video clips from elementary school through 8th grade. Our goal is for every LMS 8th grader to be included in this slideshow. We prefer photos that have more than one student, if possible.

Please upload all photos/videos by March 14, 2025 to this Google Drive folder. Contact Cara Kopec at 217-741-6912 if you have questions or issues submitting photos.

Depending on the number of photos submitted, not all photos may be used.  We will make the final video slideshow available digitally to all 8th grade families at the end of the school year.

LMS Opportunities
Feed our community through the LMS Food Drive!

Student Council has organized the annual LMS food drive, to benefit the Ritenour Co-Care Pantry this year. Their facility is designed to look and feel more like a grocery store for its patrons and community, maintaining the integrity of those in need. The organizers shared that the pantry is in particular need of jelly and soup.

The drive continues through November 26. Thank you for feeding our neighbors!

Nurse Williams needs help next week!

LMSPA Dues

We are pleased to announce that we have now surpassed our annual goal. Huge THANK YOU to all the families who have supported us. We are keeping the contribution button live on our website because the parent association supports students, teachers, and staff at LMS all year long. While it costs around $75 per student each year to make this happen, we ask that you contribute whatever is possible.

Here are some of the ways we use your donations:

● Field trips for all grades

● Grade-level parties and special events like the Boo-Bash

● Extra-curricular clubs and competitions
including Ski Club, Science Olympiad, and Math Team

● Teacher Grants

● Teacher/staff appreciation throughout the year
including conference meals, appreciation days, and coffee in the lounge

● Membership toolkit platform that hosts our LMSPA directory,
website, donations, sales, signups, and our communications

Any amount helps to make a difference for our school!
Just
click this link or send a check payable to LMSPA to the school.

The LMSPA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and donations are tax-deductible and eligible for most corporate matching gift programs.

LMSPA Dues Drawing Winners

Congratulations to our Ladue Spirit Basket winners - the Deruisseau and DiPasco Families. Each family will receive a Ladue gift basket with this Ladue schwag: a grey sweatshirt, black/white joggers, teal water bottle, stuffed Ram plushie, and bumper sticker ($75 value).

We appreciate everyone who has donated to the annual dues campaign this year!

The LMSPA is excited to feature this week's local business partner,  The Daily Bread, at 11719 Manchester Road in Des Peres. From their famous Mountain Cookies to their White Chicken Chili, everything is made fresh using quality ingredients. Open for breakfast and lunch daily.
